Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser created La Petite Robe Noire Rose Rose Rose in 2022, adding a rose-forward chapter to Guerlain's iconic little black dress collection. The LPRN line has become a signature for the house, with flankers that range from dark to floral, each reinvention building on the original's audacious spirit. This one leans into sweetness without losing the sophistication that makes Guerlain's compositions unmistakable. The name says it all: rose, repeated three times, staking a claim.
What makes this composition distinctive is the way the rose absolute carries the fragrance from opening to drydown, remaining a constant presence throughout the evolution. Almond opens bright and nutty, giving the wild berries and sour cherry something to play against. Bergamot adds a citrus lift that keeps the sweetness from becoming cloying.
