Why it exists.
The beginning
Shadi Samra built Cannabis Intense around the idea that the cannabis accord carries an aromatic complexity that most fragrances never attempt to capture. The green, resinous character of the plant forms the heart of a warm spice and precious wood structure. Cardamom and pink pepper lead the opening, their bright, slightly citrusy spice immediately apparent. The heart combines saffron and nutmeg, adding depth and a lingering heat that radiates from the skin. Cedar and oud anchor the base, providing a woody foundation that extends the cannabis accord and allows it to linger in the drydown rather than disappearing once the top notes fade. The result is a fragrance that rewards patience, revealing new facets over time as the different note layers interact and evolve.
