Lady Dream Felicity arrived in 2011 from Dzintars. The name itself does what the name promises. Lady Dream. Felicity. The framing is clear: something bright, something feminine, something built to make the wearer feel lucky. This is a fruit-and-vanilla composition that opens with a confident burst of raspberry, strawberry, and neroli, the citrus slicing through the sweetness with a brightness that keeps the opening from collapsing into syrup. Pink pepper snaps at the edges, adding a soft, warm piquancy that you feel more than you smell. Within the first half hour, white rose and jasmine drift in, softening the fruit into something rounder, almost creamy, the way a milky rose petal might feel against skin.
The composition is interesting because of its restraint within excess. Five top notes crowd the opening (raspberry, grapes, big strawberry, pink pepper, neroli), and the heart carries five more, including the unexpected pairing of pomegranate seed with mahogany. That mahogany is the structural thread: woody, slightly resinous, quietly grounding what could otherwise dissolve into pure confection. Cashmeran in the base does the same work from below, lending that smooth, almost fabric-like warmth that ties the whole thing together. The pink pepper is the wildcard, a clean spark that prevents the berry sweetness from cloying. It is a gourmand dressed up as a floral, and it knows the difference.
The evolution
