The beginning
Greedy Essence arrived in 2014 as part of Weil's continued exploration of texture through scent, following the 2013 release Emotion Essence. Greedy Essence took that brief and pushed it toward indulgence: a composition built around the idea of confection-laced florals, where sweetness is not an accident but the entire point. The naming is the thesis. Greedy. The fragrance is unapologetic about wanting more, more fruit, more rose, more warmth. Every spritz opens with a sticky burst of mandarin and apple, the kind of bright, almost candied fruit that signals intention immediately. The heart blooms with rose absolute and jasmine, layered with peach and lily of the valley for a floral softness that feels generous rather than restrained.
