Why it exists.
The beginning
Robin arrived in 2019 from a collaboration between perfumer Miguel Matos and the Bruno Acampora house. What Robin captures, in the brand's own words, is the memory of a dancing spree, the feeling of happiness that comes from partying without any regrets. Matos translated that exact feeling into composition, and the result is a scent built on contrasts. The opening throws bright aldehydes into the air, sharp and almost metallic, then pulls them straight into cherry, blackcurrant, and almond, a sweetness that borders on pastry. The heart sinks into tuberose, iris, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, dense and narcotic, with incense casting a smoky shadow through the bouquet. The base settles into coconut, vanilla, cedar, tobacco, musk, and a quiet thread of incense that hangs on the skin for hours.
What makes Robin unusual is the collision it sets up. Aldehydes get paired with blackcurrant, cherry, and almond, an almost pastry-like sweetness that you wouldn't expect from such a bright, sparkling top. Then the heart drops you straight into a dense floral of tuberose, iris, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, with incense shadowing the whole bouquet and pushing it toward the heavy, smoky end of things. It's a floriental that refuses to sit still: the aldehydes keep things bright and lifted while the incense and tuberose pull the composition downward.
The evolution
Robin opens with a bracing aldehyde-and-cherry accord that catches you off guard, sharp and almost medicinal. As the first minutes pass, the anise and blackcurrant mellow, letting a creamy almond sweetness rise through the heart. The composition then settles into a dense tuberose-iris middle, smoky with incense, before finally surrendering to a vanilla-musk base that lingers close to the skin for hours.

Robin draws wearers in with sheer presence. It's the kind of fragrance that turns heads at a dinner or holds its own on a cold-weather night out, projecting generously without ever feeling thin.
