The beginning
Fascina Collection arrived in 2015 from Ésika, a fragrance house that had been building its portfolio after moving into the category from its earlier work in adjacent beauty spaces. The brief was clear: capture something the brand called "new latin elegance," a femininity rooted in confidence rather than decoration. Harry Frémont took the assignment, and the result is a chypre floral that speaks without shouting. Blackberry, mandarin, and pear open with appetite, the fruit notes arriving in a juicy burst before settling into something more composed. Jasmine sambac, rose, and orchid fill the center with weight, each bloom lending a different texture.
What's interesting here is how Frémont balances the chypre skeleton with a gourmand-floral heart. Chypres traditionally lean on oakmoss and bergamot for that crisp, earthy bite, and Fascina Collection keeps the moss but trades the citrus brightness for blackberry and mandarin, a sweeter, fruitier launch that softens the genre's usual sharpness. The blackberry reads almost like crushed berries with a hint of stem-green bitterness, and the mandarin adds a pulpy sweetness that brightens the opening without veering into candy territory.
The evolution
The first fifteen minutes are all fruit. Blackberry is the loudest, sweet but not candied, with mandarin adding a zesty edge and pear softening the corners. Water lily lifts it, gives the opening a dewy quality that keeps the sweetness from cloying. By the thirty-minute mark, the fruit recedes and the florals take over, daylily, jasmine sambac, rose, and orchid building into something creamy and full. Vanilla shows up early in the heart and never really leaves. Around the two-hour mark, the base settles in. Patchouli and oakmoss bring the chypre weight, musk adds skin-like warmth, and ambergris rounds everything off. Clearwood keeps the patchouli from going too earthy. The drydown is where Fascina Collection becomes its most intimate: a soft, musky, slightly sweet warmth that sits close to skin and lingers for hours. The next morning, there's still a trace of vanilla and moss on fabric, faint but present.

Fascina Collection wears close to skin with above-average projection and longevity, making it a fragrance that rewards proximity rather than distance.
