Why it exists.

Ani X launched in 2023 as part of Nishane's X Collection, celebrating the brand's 10th anniversary. The original Ani had become a global phenomenon, often called the best vanilla fragrance ever made. Nishane sought to create a fresher interpretation, a version that could open brighter without losing the creamy excellence underneath. Cécile Zarokian built Ani X with a richer citrus opening, keeping the same beloved vanilla core that made the original so cherished. The name Ani honors the ancient metropolis that once stood at the crossroads of empires, now a monument to what remains standing when everything else falls away.
The defining move here is the citrus refresh layered over vanilla bedrock. The honeydew melon and aquatic notes give the opening a cool, dewy quality that contrasts the cardamom and blue ginger heat. In the heart, lavender and sage settle in alongside green apple and blackcurrant, adding a tartness that cuts through the sweetness while maintaining an overall sense of harmony.
