Brittany Breeze arrived in 2017 as part of Lubin's Les Evocations collection. Perfumer Delphine Thierry was tasked with something specific: translating the Breton coastline into scent. Not the postcard version, not suntan oil and coconut, but the real one. Sea spray that catches in your throat. Iodine lifting off wet rocks. The particular green of coastal herbs that grow sideways in the wind. The result isn't a marine fragrance in the conventional sense. It's an aromatic one that happens to smell like the sea.
What makes Brittany Breeze unusual is its structural honesty. Most fragrances advertise their concept and then deliver something generic underneath. Here, the mint and artemisia aren't decorative top notes, they're the point. They give the fragrance its character: sharp, slightly bitter, bracing.
