The evolution

The first spray hits with bright citrus, sweet orange and bergamot arriving together, sharp and awake. The oud is already there, but it has been tamed. Soft. Almost creamy. Working alongside amber rather than against it. As the opening settles, the florals begin their emergence. Osmanthus brings its apricot-floral quality, blackcurrant adds a tart-fruity counterpoint, and geranium introduces a green, slightly rose-like warmth. The ylang-ylang floats above it all, creamy and exotic. The citrus fades, but its brightness echoes in what replaces it. In the drydown phase, Samar Kand becomes intimate. The oud and caramel blend into something skin-close, something that sits on the pulse point without projecting aggressively. Tonka and sandalwood add depth, patchouli grounds everything, and the musk keeps it soft. The warmth persists, a faint sweetness wrapped in wood and resin.
