Charles Street arrived in 2011 as a masculine expression from Mark Birley, continuing the house's signature approach to fragrance. Pierre Bourdon composed this alongside the brand's founding ethos, that a signature fragrance should serve a man navigating London's most exclusive spaces. The 1996 debut established the house's direction, and Charles Street extends that work with additional complexity and depth. The name itself implies location: a London address, perhaps, or simply a street in the city that Birley knew well. The fragrance doesn't explain itself.
