Midnight Poison Extrait arrived in 2007, created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Olivier Cresp, and François Demachy. It was conceived as a concentrated intensification of the original Midnight Poison, a denser, more opulent expression that pushed the composition toward something approaching the extreme. The perfumers selected rare rose absolute as the cornerstone, then built around it with patchouli, labdanum, tonka, and vanilla. Each bottle is decorated with spiral lines that echo the silhouette of a couture gown.
