Nothing feels added for shock; every material serves the central image of a landscape shaped by hand.

The evolution

The first ten minutes belong to frankincense and geranium, green and slightly turpentine-sharp, the kind of opening that fills a doorway. The laurel adds warmth underneath. Around the twenty-minute mark the sharpness softens and mushrooms arrive, earthy and slightly damp, like forest floor after rain. Labdanum and myrrh thicken the middle, and carrot seed brings a dry, vegetal bitterness that keeps everything from going too sweet.
