Calice Becker returned as perfumer, but the brief was different. The original had depth, a Gourmand component that some found almost confrontational in its sweetness. The Eau Fraîche would honor that same playful tension but push the florals forward and keep the marshmallow glowing instead of blazing. The idea was transparency without losing what made the first one worth talking about. From the brand's perspective, this was a conversation with the same character, not a correction. The exaggeration of North African Neroli and Petitgrain in the opening was intentional, a way to make the sweetness feel earned rather than assumed.
