Each bottle lists its primary notes without ornamentation. For 003, Carla Chabert reached for yuzu, a Japanese citrus fruit rarely found in Western perfumery, and paired it with violet leaf, a note that echoes the green, cucumber-like freshness found in the stem of the violet plant. The combination is unusual and intentional, placing a bright East Asian citrus against a European floral-green element.
The philosophy behind 003 is material honesty. Yuzu was chosen for its rarity in Western perfumery, not for a marketing story.
