Blanche Immortelle takes its name from the immortelle flower, helichrysum, the everlasting bloom that gives the fragrance its soul. Corsican immortelle absolute is the star ingredient here, a prized material with a complex, resinous character. Jérôme Epinette built the fragrance around this singular material, layering it with Grasse mimosa for softness and bright citrus to keep the opening air. The combination creates an immediate impression of sun-warmed blooms, with the immortelle lending a subtle, honeyed warmth that unfolds gradually on the skin.
The immortelle absolute in this composition carries a signature character that is simultaneously sweet, salty, and savory: honey without the syrup, spice without the heat. Blending it with Indian jasmine sambac and Turkish rose absolute softens the edges into something almost creamy. The floral notes wrap around the immortelle, creating a lush, enveloping quality that feels both intimate and expansive. The evolution
The opening arrives bright, Italian mandarin and Calabrian bergamot, crisp and immediate. The Grasse mimosa adds a powdery softness almost immediately, tempering the citrus into something gentler.
