Why it exists.
The beginning
Amnesia Rose emerged from Luca Maffei's ongoing investigation into memory and sensation. The name points to something specific: the way a smell can arrive before its context, rose before reason. The two roses in the composition aren't decorative. They're structural. Moroccan absolute and Bulgarian rose absolute anchor the heart, while saffron introduces a sharp, metallic quality that cuts through the sweetness. The overall effect is a fragrance that balances floral richness with unexpected clarity, rose notes that feel both familiar and unexpectedly complex.
