Lancetti, founded in Florence in 1975, brought couture sensibility to fragrance. Monsieur arrived in 1995 as a tribute to Italian streets where a gentleman's scent carried as much weight as his tailoring. Named after the courteous monsieur of old European cafes, the fragrance distilled refined masculinity into an aromatic structure that felt at once contemporary and timeless. The perfumer drew on the Italian masculine tradition of citrus and herb as a statement of identity, constructing the opening around mint and petitgrain to signal clarity and intent.
