Eau de Cade

What makes the structure interesting is the cade juniper wood itself. In perfumery, juniper can read as sharp, gin-like, almost medicinal. Here, the cade variety, drawn from the wood rather than the berry, brings a smoky, terpentine-tinged depth that reads as more resinous than alcoholic. The evolution

The first minutes belong to bergamot and immortelle, a citrus that opens sharp and clean, then softens as the immortelle's herbal warmth settles in. The transition to the heart is gradual: cedar announces itself with that dry, pencil-shaving quality, while pink pepper adds a subtle spice that builds rather than sparks. The cade juniper wood and labdanum take over to create a smoky, resinous base that stays close to the skin through the end of the day. Moderate sillage throughout means it never fills a room, but it doesn't need to.
