The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Created for Faberlic's 2025 lineup, O'Feerique Sensuelle Parfum emerged from the collaboration between the Russian house and master perfumer Pierre Bourdon. The brief called for a modern, sensual scent that could sit beside the brand's everyday-beauty ethos while offering a richer, oriental twist.
Pierre Bourdon chose the opening and base notes deliberately to frame the floral heart with contrast. Bergamot and pineapple keep the spiciness of cardamom and cinnamon from feeling heavy at the start. The floral heart sits on a base of woods, musk, and oriental materials that allow jasmine and rose to project without being drowned. The raspberry and chocolate in the drydown provide a modern sweetness that elevates the oriental structure beyond convention.
The evolution
The fragrance begins with a lively burst of bergamot and pineapple, softened by ylang-ylang and energized with cardamom and cinnamon. This opening chapter is bright and spicy, designed to catch attention without overwhelming. From there, jasmine and rose take center stage, supported by heliotrope, orange blossom, and honeysuckle, creating a romantic heart that feels both classic and contemporary. The final movement settles into a warm, enveloping drydown built on cedarwood, sandalwood, and musk, with iris and vetiver adding complexity, and the indulgent blend of raspberry, chocolate, amber, and vanilla tying everything tog ether into a long-lasting, sensual finish.
Cultural impact
Since its 2025 debut, O’Feerique Sensuelle has become a quiet favorite among fans of approachable oriental florals. Wearers note its blend of tropical fruit and gourmand warmth as a bridge between Faberlic’s daily‑beauty roots and its growing perfume ambition, making it a go‑to for casual evenings and weekend brunches.
