Stardust Musk reads as a musky gourmand: dense, powdery, and built to last far beyond what a standard Eau de Parfum offers. The pistachio note lends a creamy, almost nutty sweetness at the top, while galbanum cuts through with a sharp, resinous greenness that keeps the opening from drifting into pure confection. As the hours pass, iris and tonka take over, softening the structure into something powdery and warm. The base relies heavily on musk, supported by amber, oud, and a whisper of tobacco that adds depth without ever dominating. Cedar runs through the composition like a quiet skeleton, holding everything together.
What makes this composition unusual is the tension between its green and gourmand halves. Pistachio and galbanum in the opening read as sharp, almost bitter, before iris and tonka soften the structure. The galbanum keeps the pistachio honest, preventing it from collapsing into something too sweet or one-dimensional. The evolution
The first spray lands sharp. Pistachio and galbanum push forward with almost vegetable greenness, cut by bergamot and lime. Tobacco leaf adds a dry, slightly sweet shadow underneath.
