The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Radiant Peridot draws its name from the lime-green gemstone, a stone long associated with renewal, lightness, and the kind of quiet energy that follows a long winter. Released in 2024 as part of Attar Al Has's Terra Mysteria collection, it takes that sense of rejuvenation as its starting point, not as marketing language but as an actual brief. Wear it when you want the day to feel brighter than it looked on the calendar. The gemstone reference isn't decoration. It's the mood.
What makes the composition work is the tension between its brightest notes and its warmest ones. Yuzu and lychee up top read almost like a chilled drink, vivid and a little electric, but they sit above a heart of rose, jasmine, and benzoin that refuses to stay cold. Tonka bean smooths the handoff. Then the base pulls everything into amber, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline, a gourmand finish that doesn't so much contradict the opening as extend it into something richer. The result bridges two languages most fragrances keep separate: juicy fruit and warm dessert, worn together rather than in rotation.
The evolution
The first thirty minutes are all lift. Yuzu and orange hit bright and almost mineral, sharpened by lychee and red berries that give the opening a sparkling, slightly fizzy quality. It smells like cold fruit on a warm plate. Within the first hour, the florals start to surface. Rose arrives first, quiet but definite, then jasmine adds a creamy sweetness that the benzoin rounds out into something resinous and warm. The tonka bean ties the heart together, pulling the fruit and flowers toward the same temperature. By hour three, the base has taken over. Sandalwood and cedarwood give the drydown a soft, woody architecture. Vanilla and praline bring the sweetness back, but it's a quieter sweetness now, more like the memory of dessert than the dessert itself. Amber and musk hold everything close to the skin. Six to eight hours later, what's left is a warm, skin-close blend of vanilla, sandalwood, and a trace of praline that smells like the end of a good evening.
Cultural impact
Radiant Peridot carries a gemstone-inspired identity through its name and its place within the Terra Mysteria collection, a line built around the visual and symbolic language of precious stones. That thematic framing shapes everything from the bottle presentation to the way the scent positions itself conceptually, treating the attar format as a vehicle for a single, luminous idea rather than a dense layering of materials. Radiant Peridot leans into a bright, photogenic register that feels immediately approachable, with a fruit-floral opening of lychee and yuzu that delivers sparkle and freshness in equal measure.
