The beginning
Imagine Casino Elixir is The Dua Brand's 2026 entry in its Inspired Tribrid collection, composed by Mahsam Raza. The name sketches its ambition: casino air, a sense of play, the elixir as the bottle you reach for when the night calls for something decisive. Raza opens the composition with a high-energy fruit chord, threading pineapple, apple, bergamot, blackcurrant and saffron into a single burst that reads both familiar and newly calibrated. The pineapple brings that bright, almost candied sweetness right at the front, while the bergamot lifts everything with a clean, slightly bitter citrus edge. Blackcurrant adds a darker, jammy undertone that keeps the opening from feeling one-dimensional, and the apple rounds it out with a crisp, just-bitten quality.
What makes the structure worth attention is the density underneath the brightness. The heart doesn't just spice the fruit, it stacks it: Tunisian neroli against Ceylonese cinnamon, Nigerian ginger cutting through pink pepper, Egyptian jasmine and Moroccan bitter almond adding a marzipan-sweet edge, all pinned to a smoky Chinese black tea accord.
