The beginning
#Imagine launched in 2021 as part of The Dua Brand's Inspired Expression collection. Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian orange, and Tunisian neroli anchor the top, while Nigerian ginger and Ceylon cinnamon give the heart its warmth. The drydown leans on guaiac wood, ambroxan, and frankincense, materials that hold close to the skin and linger long after the initial burst fades. The composition builds from bright citrus into warm spice, then settles into a woody, resinous base that feels intimate rather than loud. There's a deliberate arc here, from the first spray through the hours that follow, each phase distinct but connected.
What makes #Imagine work is the tension between its two halves. The opening offers bright citrus, neroli's cool floral glow, and a shot of Nigerian ginger that keeps everything energized. But the black tea and frankincense pull it somewhere else entirely. Ambroxan adds a clean, woody softness that reads as skin-warm without ever being heavy.
