    Mahsam Raza

Mahsam Raza did not enter the fragrance industry through the traditional route. Born and raised in Dubai, he absorbed the region's deep perfume culture before heading to the United States to build something entirely his own. In 2015, he launched The Dua Brand from a studio apartment alongside his business partner Anam and his mother. What began as a modest operation quickly became one of the most discussed fragrance companies in the clone space, challenging industry norms by being transparent about inspiration while insisting on quality. Beyond perfume, Raza is also an award-winning actor and film producer, but fragrance remains his primary language for storytelling. He has grown the company to selling hundreds of thousands of bottles while maintaining direct engagement with a community of passionate followers across social media.

    How Mahsam composes

The Dua Brand's offerings reflect Mahsam's Dubai upbringing: bold oriental constructions, rich sillage, and a preference for ingredients that announce presence without apology. His formulations tend toward depth and longevity, often featuring amber, oud, and woody bases. The style leans unapologetically powerful, designed for wearers who want their scent to register as part of their outfit, not a quiet afterthought.

    Philosophy

    What drives Mahsam

Mahsam Raza treats scent as emotional architecture. He designs fragrances meant to trigger memory, confidence, and connection. Rather than hiding behind the concept of inspiration, he embraces it, believing that clone fragrances done with integrity can serve as bridges between wearers and scents they might otherwise never experience. His approach prioritizes accessibility without compromising on quality, arguing that luxury should not remain gatekept.
