The evolution

The opening hits citrus-bright: lemon zest, mandarin, a cardamom warmth that keeps it from reading as cleaning product. That phase gives way before the florals take over, jasmine asserting itself first, then orange blossom softening everything around it. The hawthorn arrives to ground what could have become another generic floral, adding structure and preventing the heart from drifting too far into predictable territory.
