Amour Brut arrived in 2023 as part of LEN Fragrances' Exclusif collection. Maurus Bachmann, the perfumer credited on the bottle, built a chypre composition that opens with effervescence and settles into something far more grounded. The fragrance reads as a deliberate oxymoron right from the label. Soft and unapologetic sit side by side, promising something that refuses easy sentimentality. There's an electricity to the way Bachmann treats the classic chypre structure, an insistence on contrast that runs through every phase of the wear. Citrus notes arrive bright and almost startling, cutting through with a sharpness that catches you off guard before the warmer, denser materials beneath have a chance to settle.

Jasmine threads through without dominating, more suggestion than statement.
