L'Erbolario built the fragrance around cherry blossom as the central character, wrapping it in citrus and warm woods rather than letting it stand alone. The intent was sweetness without cloying: cloudlike and fleeting, the way real petals feel when you walk beneath a blooming tree. There's a gentleness to the construction that resists any single-note reading. The blossom isn't isolated in a vitrine; it's placed in conversation with green stems, with bark, with the air around the tree. What you smell is less the flower itself and more the hour you spend beneath it, the drift of scent as branches sway and petals loosen. It's a composition that wants to hold a space, not fill one.
