Why it exists.
The beginning
Iceberg built its name on sporty DNA and fresh, athletic energy. By 2014, the house had been translating that cool Italian sensibility into fragrance for over a decade. Tender White arrived as a successor to the previous year's Iceberg White, same house, same sleek bottle language, but a different temperature entirely. Where its predecessor leaned sharp and crisp, Tender White softened. The brief was femininity without performance: powdery, warm, built on peony and rose rather than the aquatic accords the brand had become known for.
What makes Tender White structurally interesting is the tension between its opening and its base. The top is all bright, almost tart energy, raspberry, pink pepper, grapefruit, the kind of sharp sparkle that announces itself confidently in the first ten minutes. Then the composition hands over to a heart of peony and rose softened by hawthorn. The hawthorn is unusual; it's not a note most compositions reach for, and it adds a faint bitterness beneath the petals that keeps the florals from reading as purely romantic. Vanilla and musk arrive late to anchor everything into something warm and skin-close, a drydown that whispers rather than declares, but holds for six to eight hours on most skin types.
The evolution
The opening hits bright and fruity, raspberry bursts forward, sharpened by pink pepper's dry spice while grapefruit cuts through with a citrus bite that reads almost effervescent. It lasts clean for the first twenty to thirty minutes, sharp and awake. Then the hand-off begins: the citrus softens, the raspberry recedes, and the peony-rose-hawthorn trio emerges as a powdery, petal-cream center. Hawthorn is the quiet oddity here, it adds a barely perceptible green-bitter undertone that prevents the florals from sliding into saccharine territory. This middle phase lasts the longest, two to four hours of warm, intimate floral that sits close to the skin. The vanilla and musk arrive gradually, settling beneath the florals like a base note arriving late to a dinner party. By hour five or six, the drydown is a soft skin-warm iris and vanilla blend, powdery, creamy, and quietly persistent. Still there in the morning on fabric, faint and tender.

Tender White sits comfortably in the accessible luxury space, a fresh-floral oriental that doesn't demand attention or a specific occasion to wear. It appeals to the Iceberg customer who wants femininity without formality, sweetness without cloying performance. Moderate sillage makes it office-appropriate and close-wear friendly, while the powdery floral character places it alongside softer mainstream florals as a reliable, everyday option.
