Divin Vert arrived in 2023 from Fragrance World, a UAE-based fragrance house. Divin Vert sits squarely in the masculine citrus-leather category, a composition built to wear easily in warm weather without losing depth. The name itself signals where the scent aims, bright and botanical on the surface, with something earthier anchoring it below. The citrus opening brings an immediate sense of freshness, with mandarin and bergamot providing that crisp, just-peeled quality that catches the air before settling. As the top notes soften, the leather steps forward, carrying a smooth, slightly worn character rather than anything stiff or formal. A floral heart threads through the middle, keeping the transition from bright to grounded feeling natural rather than abrupt.
What makes this composition worth a second look is how the leather and pineapple share space. Combined with labdanum and a white floral heart, the pineapple adds a tart, almost humid edge that keeps the leather from going dusty. The labdanum pulls double duty, giving warmth while reinforcing the amber base that eventually takes over. Rum in the drydown is the quiet surprise. It doesn't announce itself, but it adds a fermented sweetness that rounds the oakmoss and benzoin into something that lasts.
