In 2012, Mathilde Laurent returned to the lily, not as an accent, but as the entire conversation. The Shimmering edition was an addendum: what if the invisible became visible? Tiny particles suspended in the bottle catch light when you shake it, shimmering as the liquid moves. The scent opens with a bright, fresh quality before the lily heart emerges. Same lily heart, same green stem drydown. The floral notes unfold gradually, revealing a delicate powderiness that settles close to the skin. As the hours pass, the green vegetal undertones become more pronounced, like stems that have been left in water overnight.
