The structure reads cleanly: bright citrus and marine on top, herbal florals in the middle, oakmoss and sandalwood anchoring the base. Fir needle brings a resinous snap to the opening that most aquatic-leaning compositions skip, while rosemary and sage keep the herbal heart from collapsing into something purely green and polite. The Brazilian rosewood in the base adds a creamy, slightly sweet woodiness to the drydown that rounds out the composition and gives it warmth without sacrificing the clean, aromatic character of the opening.
