Why it exists.
The beginning
Adam Bujairami launched I Have Money in 2022 as part of his growing Australian catalog of compositions. The name reads like a declaration, or maybe a dare. The cardamom-led opening pulls you in immediately, a warm spice that arrives without any citrus softening, no fruity lift to round the edges. Just that heat, fully formed, sitting on top of a base that's doing serious architectural work underneath. The leather and amber layer through the heart and settle into the drydown with a weight you can feel before you can name it. This is a fragrance built around the interplay between a single bright top note and a dense, grounding foundation, the kind of contrast that keeps you leaning in.
What makes the structure interesting is the contrast between restraint and excess. Cardamom is a single, precise top note, no citrus sparkle, no fruity softening. Just that warm, almost peppery snap that hits like a struck match. Then the leather takes over, but it's not the wet, rubbery black leather of a motorcycle jacket. The Black Leather and jasmine sambac combination sits closer to something floral underneath, animalic heat above, a texture that reads more like worn material than fresh hide.
The evolution

It's not the loudest jasmine, it reads cleaner and more restrained, a white floral that sits close to the leather rather than floating above it. The Black Leather arrives alongside it, dry with just enough sweetness to keep it from feeling sharp, and together they carry the composition through the next stretch of wear. The jasmine fades slowly into the base, and what remains is the architecture: amber doing its golden, resinous work, patchouli adding earthy depth, and moss lending a coolness underneath that balances all that warmth above it.
