The heart, peony leading, rose and orange blossom in support, takes over around the one-hour mark. This is the fragrance's most wearable phase: warm, feminine, present without projecting. The base arrives quietly around hour two. Amber and benzoin provide warmth; patchouli adds a dry, earthy counterweight that stops the composition from going entirely soft. By hour four, what remains is skin-warm and close, present enough to be noticed by someone leaning in, gone enough that you're not announcing yourself to the next room.
