The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
The LoveMe collection arrived in 2022 as Tous's exploration of color as emotional language. Each variant took its name from a gemstone, but the real story was the feeling each one translated. The Silver edition came last, positioned as the romantic counterpart, charm and grace over the Emerald's playfulness. The brief was clear: capture what silver actually feels like, not just what it looks like. That meant coolness that could warm, luminosity that stayed close rather than announcing itself. Rose petals and jasmine under a silvery sky.
What makes this structure interesting is the tension between the opening and the base. Mandarin and peach arrive bright, almost sparkling, that's the silver light the brand references. But sandalwood and musk don't wait in the wings. They arrive early, softening the citrus before it peaks, threading warmth through the coolness from the start. The rose and jasmine don't arrive on top of this foundation, they bloom within it, caught between the shimmer and the warmth. It's a composition that refuses to stay in one place.
The evolution
The opening hits quick. Mandarin and peach, a bright juice that reads almost candied for the first ten minutes. Then the jasmine begins to surface, and with it the rose, not sharp, but soft, the petals slightly damp with morning. The citrus doesn't fully disappear; it lingers at the edges, keeping the florals from going heavy. By the second hour, sandalwood and musk take over. The texture shifts from bright to velvet. The drydown holds close to the skin for another two to four hours, intimate, warm, faintly powdery. On fabric, it lasts longer, the peach note settling into cotton like a memory.
Cultural impact
LoveMe The Silver Parfum sits in the sweet-floral category that dominates mass-market women's fragrance, but the silver framing gives it a specificity that sets it apart. Where most florals lean pink or white, this one leans metallic, cool and luminous, with a precision that reflects the brand's jewelry-house roots. It's the kind of fragrance that reads as a gift immediately, which is both its strength and its natural position in the market.
