The composition centers vetiver and gives it an unexpected companion in rosé, paired with an unusual oakwood extract and a fortified clary sage essence sourced from Morocco. The intent reads clearly on the bottle: a vetiver composition dressed up rather than dressed down. Rosé gives it lift, the oak gives it gravity, the sage gives it backbone. There's something almost architectural about the way these materials stack, each one doing a specific job without crowding the others. The rosé accord doesn't read as a fruity flourish so much as a way of lightening vetiver's usually heavy footprint.
The fragrance works because it refuses to choose between sparkle and structure. Pink champagne accord and pink pepper bring the fizz, the kind of brightness that reads celebratory without tipping into syrup. Then oak wood, an unusual move in a vetiver-led composition, adds the dry tannic edge that keeps the opening from feeling like a spritz.
