The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Pink Beach came together in 2022, built around an atmosphere that feels borrowed from somewhere far warmer than wherever you're standing when you spray it on. The fragrance leans into the fantasy of a long afternoon, where the light slants low and the day stretches past its usual ending. Every layer of the composition contributes to that slow, sun-soaked mood, from the first bright spritz to the warmer notes that settle in hours later. The result is less a scene you wear and more a feeling you carry with you, an instant shift into a softer, more languid register. It captures a specific kind of mood without ever naming it directly.
What makes Pink Beach work isn't any single note. It's the layering. The tartness of raspberry and rhubarb up top softens into an unexpectedly creamy heart of almond and coffee, which then settles into a base that reads almost gourmand. Most fruity florals go one direction. This one pulls toward dessert without ever fully getting there. That tension is the whole point, and it's what makes the fragrance feel like more than the sum of its listed notes.
The evolution
The first ten minutes are bright, almost fizzy. Bergamot, blood orange, lemon, and a cocktail of red and black currants, raspberry, and rhubarb all hit at once, like biting into something chilled after a long walk. Then the heart takes over. Orange blossom and jasmine are the expected players, but it's the almond and coffee that make this phase strange and wonderful. The florals smell sunlit, not soapy. The almond reads marzipan-adjacent, the coffee grounds-like, grounding the sweetness. After about two hours the drydown settles in. Sandalwood and cedarwood form a warm, slightly creamy base, and the caramel, vanilla, and tonka bean layer on top of that like a syrup that's been reduced slowly. Musk and amber smooth the edges. The whole composition shifts in character as the hours pass, each phase borrowing something from the last so the transitions feel inevitable rather than abrupt.
Cultural impact
Pink Beach fits squarely into Mykonos's sunlit, resort-coded identity. It's the kind of scent that wears well on a tropical afternoon or a warm evening out, and its gourmand-leaning base gives it enough personality to stand apart from more conventional summer releases. Wearers tend to be drawn to the almond-coffee pairing in the heart, which lends the fragrance a slightly unusual dimension compared to other scents in the same category. The combination of bright fruit at the top, that warm nutty heart, and the dessert-adjacent drydown gives it range.
