The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Alberto Morillas built Daisy Love Glow as part of the broader Glow collection, joining Daisy Glow and Daisy Eau So Fresh Glow in a line that explores different facets of the Daisy universe. Each fragrance in the collection takes a different approach, moving toward lighter, airier, and more atmospheric compositions. Morillas selected cloudberry as a distinctive element, a Scandinavian berry that delivers a tart and aromatic quality rather than something sweet or confected. The pairing of citrus with cloudberry creates an opening that stands apart from more conventional fresh accords. Jasmine and clove warm the heart without adding weight, while Kashmiri musk and patchouli support the base, creating a finish that lingers with genuine presence rather than fading quickly.
Kashmiri musk brings a quality that is powdery and warm, neither sharp nor animalic, with a softness that integrates smoothly into the skin. Combined with patchouli that leans creamy and grounded rather than earthy or dirty, the base reads as intimate and close rather than projecting outward. Cloudberry, the Scandinavian berry, adds another layer of distinction with its tart, aromatic character that sets it apart from more common fruit notes like raspberry or strawberry.
The evolution
The opening combines bergamot and cloudberry, creating a bright, tart impression with an unusual edge that citrus alone would not achieve. This initial phase carries through the early wear before jasmine begins to emerge, accompanied by clove that adds a hint of spice and keeps the florals from going flat. As the composition develops, the bergamot softens and the heart settles into something warmer and more intimate. The drydown is where this fragrance earns its name, with Kashmiri musk and patchouli coming forward in a way that remains close to the skin rather than projecting aggressively. The sillage stays moderate throughout, making it suitable for professional environments, while the base notes work steadily to extend the wearing experience beyond what lighter florals typically achieve.
Cultural impact
Daisy Love Glow is the latest addition to the Glow collection, sitting alongside Daisy Glow and Daisy Eau So Fresh Glow as part of an expanding family of lighter, more atmospheric variations. The fragrance incorporates cloudberry and clove to create dimension, adding complexity that the composition requires. It represents a thoughtful evolution within the line, with Morillas constructing a structure that prioritizes lasting power and depth as central features of the fragrance's identity.
