3 Avenue George V takes its name from the Maison's emblematic address, the Parisian street that lends the fragrance its identity. La Collection Particulière translates that address into scent, building a portrait around the place itself. The 2022 release was composed by Olivier Cresp, and it leans on Iso E Super and Ambrox to create skin-like warmth without sweetness. Cresp built the composition around Palo Santo, anchoring it with cardamom up top and a synthetic-woody base that feels modern and deliberate in its construction. The result carries a quiet authority, the kind of composition that knows exactly what it wants to be and never raises its voice to prove it.
What makes this composition unusual isn't a single rare material. It's the structure. The opening gives you exactly one note, cardamom, and then pivots hard into Palo Santo, a heart that sits in the center with uncommon confidence. Most woody compositions bury their woods under spice or smoke; here, Palo Santo carries the entire middle, clean and resinous with a faintly devotional quality. The evolution
