The beginning
Full Gallop is named for movement, the kind that starts slow, finds its rhythm, and then takes over completely. For Diana Vreeland, dance was the source of everything: the cadence in her speech, the boldness in her vision, the reason she described the world in superlatives instead of sentences. She discovered dancing as a young child and never stopped moving, carrying that momentum through her decades at Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, where she reshaped American fashion with her distinctive voice. Her grandson Alexander Vreeland honored that legacy by translating her written word into something you could wear, and Full Gallop is the result, capturing the energy of a woman who treated every room like a stage and every day like a performance worth remembering.
What makes Full Gallop distinctive is the interplay between heliotrope and osmanthus. Heliotrope is the classic powder note, soft, almond-like, the scent of something vintage and beloved.
