Released in 2025, it belongs to a wider catalog where each bottle carries a place reference, with companions like Vaniglia del Kerala, Cannella dello Sri Lanka, and Olibano del Siam rounding out the offering. The Italian house has built a roster that draws its vocabulary from coastlines and ports, trading the usual floral-versus-oriental split for something more cartographic. Bergamot is doing double duty here, both a Calabrian citrus and a structural pillar of the composition. The marine accord sits beside it like a co-protagonist, neither one subordinating itself to the other.
What's worth noticing is the structural honesty. The fragrance puts its top notes front and center and doesn't hide behind them.
