Regent Leather was born from Thameen's Treasure Collection, a line that turns historic jewels into scent. In 2016 the house teamed with the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club to honour the 141-carat Regent Diamond, famed for its flawless white brilliance. The collaboration 'engineered' a fragrance that married the gemstone's radiance with the interior luxury of vintage Rolls Royce craftsmanship. The perfumer sought to capture both the diamond's crystalline brilliance through bright citrus and the supple leather of the car's cabin through rich, warm base notes.
The note pairing in Regent Leather reflects a deliberate philosophy: bright lemon evokes the diamond's clarity and the initial impression one gets entering a luxury car, while the saffron-rose-jasmine heart captures the layered richness of precious gem facets. The leather-vanilla drydown grounds the experience in tactile luxury, transforming the abstract concept of a legendary jewel into something you can actually wear and feel. This structure ensures the fragrance moves from visual brilliance to material richness, mirroring the Regent Diamond's own transformation from raw stone to museum treasure.
