Green Pearl takes its inspiration from luminous green fluorite, a stone found exclusively in China and treasured in ancient times for its rarity and beauty. The founder of Thameen grew up surrounded by raw fragrance materials, observing the supply chain that fed major perfume houses. This background informed his vision: to create scents that capture the essence of precious objects. In 2016, he worked with perfumer Alexandre Illan to translate the phosphorescent quality of green fluorite into olfactory form. The challenge was to evoke luminosity through scent, using ingredients that could capture light-like qualities in a fragrance composition.
