The evolution

The first thirty minutes announce themselves. Grapefruit cuts through bright and tart, pineapple and apple follow, sweet, tropical, immediately present. The cinnamon underneath adds a warmth that feels like spice without heat. Within the hour, the heart begins to surface: lily of the valley brings a powdery softness, rose adds a quiet floral depth, and pink pepper introduces a subtle bite that keeps the sweetness from flattening. By hour three, the base takes over. Tonka bean and vanilla create a creamy, almost edible warmth, while cedarwood adds an aromatic backbone that prevents the whole thing from becoming too soft.
