The Story
Why it exists.
The beginning
Toxic came from a year of work between Superz Budapest and Andi Tóth, the Hungarian singer and actress who worked with the clothing label Backoff. The brief was simple: build something that couldn't be ignored. Tóth brought her eye for contrast, the way her collections mix softness with an edge that doesn't announce itself. Superz brought the craft, the attention to detail, the belief that fragrance should earn its presence. The name came last, and it was the right call. Toxic is the fragrance that earns its warning label.
What makes Toxic work is the bergamot. Gourmand fragrances rarely open sharp, the tendency is to go soft, warm, immediately enveloping. Toxic does the opposite. The bergamot arrives clean, almost green, a brightness that contradicts the caramel and honey waiting underneath. That tension, sweet material held accountable by citrus, is what separates this from other tiramisu scents. It's not a dessert you eat quietly. It's a dessert that says something.
The evolution
The bergamot opens sharp, clean, almost astringent. Then the tiramisu takes over, not a literal tiramisu, but the impression of it: cream, bitter cocoa, the warmth of something freshly assembled. Caramel and honey slide in underneath, rounding the edges. As the top notes soften, the sweetness deepens. Amber and vanilla arrive, moss keeping everything grounded so it doesn't float away. The drydown is warm, close, the kind of scent that stays on skin into the next day.
Cultural impact
Toxic is a collaboration between Superz Budapest and Andi Tóth, the Hungarian singer and actress known for her work in music and fashion. Tóth's approach to design has always mixed sweetness with an edge that refuses to apologize for itself, and that sensibility runs through this fragrance. The bergamot opening acts as a citrus barrier, sharp and clean, before the gourmand heart takes over. In that sense, Toxic speaks to a certain kind of wearer, someone who wants fragrance to say something about who they are.
