Perfumer Wei Bai composed it for the sign known for precision, discernment, and the kind of quiet competence that doesn't need an audience. The Virgo archetype rewards what's useful, what's true, what's exact. Released in 2026, Virgo enters a catalog where the Guardian Star Series treats each zodiac sign not as decoration but as a working archetype, a pattern of energy that can be translated into materials and proportion. Wei Bai builds the composition with restraint. The opening leans green before the florals arrive, setting up a white floral built on stems and leaves rather than garden blossoms. Everything serves the structure. Nothing performs.
What's interesting here is the restraint. Tuberose is a notoriously loud material, a flower that takes over every composition it enters. Wei Bai keeps it leashed, framed by green leaves and magnolia on top, softened by pear and vanilla in the heart. The base pulls in an unexpected direction: angelica, geranium, cedar, and a thread of oud. That oud is what keeps Virgo from becoming just another pretty floral. It grounds the white petals in something darker, more rooted, more considered. The pear note is the unusual one. Fruit notes in white florals usually read as syrup or candy.
The evolution
The first ten minutes belong to the green. Crushed stems, the snap of a fresh leaf, magnolia opening just behind it like a window thrown open in early morning.
