The house released it during a period when independent labels were producing work of considerable range, and Warm Thrill reads as an entry into the white floral space. Mirum's naming conventions point to a sensibility drawn to charged, emotional titles. Warm Thrill fits that logic, evoking sensation rather than scenery, warmth as a feeling state rather than a temperature. It sat among the brand's offerings alongside siblings with names like Make Love no War and Not For Sale, titles that suggest a willingness to provoke as much as to perfume. The fragrance was composed without a publicly attributed perfumer.
The pyramid structure places frankincense through the heart rather than the base. Here it sits between jasmine and tuberose, adding a resinous tension that keeps the florals from collapsing into sweetness. The evolution
