Purpose was composed by Quentin Bisch within The Odyssey Collection, conceived as a vertical totem where mineral woods rise upward and stellar spice sparks cut through. The fragrance draws on the house's Omani heritage while embracing a more abstract, conceptual approach. Bisch works with the collection's themes of journey and transformation, using materials like frankincense and papyrus to evoke both the spiritual and the tactile.
The note structure of Purpose reflects a deliberate philosophy. Frankincense and papyrus connect to ancient perfumery traditions while black and pink pepper create a contemporary spice effect.
