Launched in 2024 by Miraj, Brizant is a composition built around volatile citrus and sharp spice. The fragrance reads as a deliberate seasonal statement, a cologne-style structure with something warmer waiting underneath that burst of brightness. From the first spray, the citrus announces itself with real volume, lime and bergamot carrying the brightest edges while grapefruit lends a pink, slightly bitter undertone. Coriander cools the opening from below, and cardamom adds a quick thread of spiced warmth before the heart takes over. The tension between that initial effervescence and the persistence of the drydown is central. Citrus that holds rather than evaporating, freshness with staying power, is the promise the composition sets out to keep.
What separates Brizant from a hundred other citrus-spice compositions is the unusual inclusion of beer CO2 in the heart, alongside ginger, juniper berries, and pink pepper CO2.
