Marrakech Imperial, founded in 2020, stands as Morocco's first haute parfumerie, weaving Atlas cedar, Moroccan rose and wild oud into modern niche scents that echo the city's imperial past. Named for the historic kasbahs that crown Marrakech's red-sand hills, Oud Kasbah Royal was conceived by perfumer Christian Carbonnel as an homage to the opulent traditions of Moroccan royal courts. The brief called for something that could capture the grandeur of those ancient halls while remaining wearable in contemporary settings.
The note pyramid reflects a philosophy of contrast and balance. The opening spices create immediate impact and draw the wearer in, while the amber-mimosa heart offers breathing room and emotional warmth. The oud-muskatka-vanilla base ensures longevity and creates a signature that lingers long after the initial application.
