The beginning
Created by Dalia Izem in collaboration with Georgina Rodriguez, Sense arrived in 2024 as a celebration of femininity in motion. The brief was simple: a fragrance that felt like joy held in motion, not frozen. Something tender, something alive. The name says it all, Sense is about feeling things fully, capturing the instinct and impulse that make femininity feel like energy rather than image.
The structure pairs bright citrus against powdery florals, anchored by cashmere wood. That combination, warm, soft wood beneath clean florals, keeps the scent from becoming precious or floaty. It adds body. What makes Sense interesting is that cashmere wood note. It's not common in fruity-florals, and its presence here lifts the composition away from the expected, giving it an unexpected warmth that earns its tenderness.
The evolution
Sense opens with mandarin and blackcurrant, tart, bright, a little jolt. The blackcurrant brings a darker berry edge that stops the citrus from being too clean. That opening lasts about an hour before the florals arrive. Orange blossom leads the heart, sweet and waxy, with jasmine adding creaminess and iris bringing powdery elegance. Cashmere wood sits underneath, soft and warm, grounding the florals. As it settles, the jasmine recedes and musk takes over, clean, skin-like, warm. The drydown isn't dramatic. It's the kind of lingering that happens when the fragrance stops trying to announce itself. Late in the wear, you get just powder, just warmth, just close.
